Pick Plants That Can Handle Softer Light
Low-light houseplants are for rooms where direct sun is rare: north-facing windows, offices, hallways, apartments, and corners that only get soft indirect light. These plants are better at staying attractive when light is limited.
Low light does not mean no light. If you can comfortably read in the room during the day, many of these plants can work. If the room stays gloomy all day, choose the toughest options first or add a grow light nearby.
