Beginner Hub Concepts
Three easier logic models for beginners. The goal is to make the entry point obvious without forcing the care library to behave like a single step.
Concept 1
Guided Course
A clean, numbered journey. Easy to understand, but still risks feeling heavy if someone only needs one answer.
Best for: users who like a lesson-style journey.
Risk: it can still feel too linear for people who arrive with one immediate problem.
Concept 2
Situation-Based Hub
The simplest logic. Users do not need to understand your system. They just choose the situation they are in right now.
Best for: the broadest audience and fastest decision-making.
Risk: users may not discover the full learning path unless you surface it separately.
Concept 3
Hybrid Hub
Recommended
This keeps the hub simple for beginners, but still gives you a guided journey underneath. It solves the logic problem without throwing away the path idea.
Best for: Houseplant101, because you can support browsing and onboarding at the same time.
Why I’d pick it: it gives beginners clear choices first, then a path if they want one.
