My Chinese money plant has decided all its leaves should look like tiny green tacos. The leaves are curling inward, but they are still firm and mostly green. A few older leaves are yellowing at the bottom. It sits near an east window and I water when the pot feels light. I did rotate it recently because it was leaning like it was trying to leave the room. Is curling usually light, water, roots, or the plant being weird because it is a pilea?

Pilea leaves can curl from light changes, watering swings, or stress. Since you rotated it recently, give it a stable week and see if the newest leaves improve.

Check the roots if the pot dries extremely fast or stays wet too long. Curling plus lower yellow leaves can happen when the watering rhythm is off.

Do not chase every curled leaf with a new care change. Pick one likely cause, adjust gently, and wait.

Mine curled when it was too close to the window in summer. It still looked green, just cupped inward. Moving it back a little helped.

If the soil has compacted, water may run down the sides and miss the center. That can make the pot feel watered while the roots are not getting much.

My pilea always loses a few bottom leaves when it is making babies. If the top growth is healthy, I would not panic over a couple old yellow leaves.
